About GLJETAA
The Great Lakes Chapter of the JET Alumni Association (JETAA) is over 15 years old. We have elections in March and currently have nine elected officers. We represent JET Program alumni in Michigan and Ohio.
Our chapter benefits greatly from the strong and vibrant Japanese community in Michigan and Ohio, which is supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit. The Great Lakes Chapter is partnering with these valuable resources to give members the opportunity to fulfill their yearnings for Japanese culture and to offer their own experiences to grow the community.
Our full acronym stands for “The Great Lakes Japan Exchange and Teaching Program Alumni Association.”
